Iedereen de lucht in!
LUCHTHAVEN DEURNE, 8 april 2010 - Vandaag werd het luchtvaartbedrijf FreeFlight Academy officieel ingehuldigd als het eerste Cessna Training Center in de Benelux. FreeFlight Academy ontving deze prestigieuze erkenning uit handen van Cessna Manager, Mrs. Julie Filucci. "We mikken met onze training niet alleen op de recreatieve piloot, op zoek naar een kwalitatieve opleiding, maar ook op de business piloot, die als doel heeft zichzelf te verplaatsen van meeting tot meeting" dixit Kay Vereeken, Manager FreeFlight Academy.Onder het motto "Iedereen kan vliegen" lanceert FreeFlight Academy eveneens het concept "Discovery Flight".
Na een korte briefing over de basisprincipes van het vliegen, neemt de kandidaat zelf plaats achter het stuur voor een 30 minuten durende vlucht in een uniek glass cockpit vliegtuig. Een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Cessna Welcomes FreeFlight Academy to Its Global Cessna Pilot Center Network
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany, April 8, 2010 – Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. company, announced today at AERO Friedrichshafen in Germany, has added FreeFlight CVBA, located in Antwerp, Belgium (ANR), to its global network of more than 280 Cessna Pilot Centers (CPCs). FreeFlight is the first CPC in the region and will support Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemborg.CPCs are flight training affiliates that use the new Cessna Flight Training System and Cessna aircraft and offer customers an array of services including flight training.“Expanding our CPC network is part of the company’s effort to make flying more accessible and to re-energize pilot training,” said Julie Filucci, Cessna CPC manager.“Cessna’s newly developed flight training system, our range of stable training aircraft including the newly introduced 162 Skycatcher, and our large CPC network, make this training option a complete package for anyone who wants to learn to fly,” Filucci said. New Cessna Flight Simulator for FreeFlight CVBA
Antwerp 9/03/2010 - We just received our very first Flight Simulator! It's a replica of our training aircraft, the C172S with a full functioning G1000 Glass Cockpit. The ideal tool for students to perform cockpit training and simulated instrument flight. Although the hours cannot be logged, it's a great personal training experience and an ideal way to practice and rehearse specific exercices. The Simulator has a beautiful panoramic widescreen vision which gives you a real feeling of flying.

First Solo Flight in 2010 by Kenny Tieu! Congratulations...
Antwerp 16/01/2010 - The first solo flight in 2010 has been performed by our youngest student: Kenny Tieu. His first solo took place at August, 8 2009 when he just turned 16. Congratulations from the whole FreeFlight team!

New aircraft arrives in Antwerp!
Antwerp, 17/09/2009 - On September the 17 2009, at 17:47 UTC, our brand new aircraft touches down at the Antwerp Airport. After a challenging trip of almost 38 hours across the Atlantic Ocean, the ferry pilot is pleased to hand us over the keys. Just in time to reveal this brand new aircraft to the public...
